Known for its unique blend of traditional and innovative coffee creations, Tierra Mia is much more than just a drive-thru; it's a cultural experience that tantalizes the taste buds and warms the heart. Located at 201 N State College Blvd, this delightful spot is an integral part of the community, capturing the essence of what it means to enjoy coffee in a cozy yet bustling environment.
Tierra Mia offers an impressive menu that showcases their specialties, including the Horchata Latte, Mocha Mexicano, Cafecito Cubano Con Leche, and the fan-favorite Coco Loco Latte. Beyond their coffees, the selection of teas and hot chocolates provides a comforting alternative for those seeking variety.

“ This little coffee shop is a beloved space in the community. Their coffee and pastries are excellent-- I highly recommend the Coco Loco Latte and Tres Leches pastry if you stop by. Despite being constantly busy-- staff here try their best to expedite orders in a timely manner. When a place is always busy, it's usually a good sign of excellent customer service and an even better menu, right? **Some main things to note: parking is available (terrible outline/structure though), they do have a patio, and are open late. ”
“ First time here , love it , its exactly what i want in my drink . Service good . Will be back ! ”
“ Tierra Mia is a safe bet when it comes to coffee. My go to is the Cafecito. It's strong but smooth. I always ask for oatmilk and half sweet. It always comes out perfect. I also love their tres leches muffin. The perfect pair. To top the delicious drinks and pastries is the great customer service. The baristas are always so nice there. The place is super cute, but always so crowded when we come. Downside to this place is the entrance to the parking lot. It's so scary to get in and out. But their delicious items are worth the scare. ”
“ the strawberry matcha was great the matcha horchata was good, it was lighter than the strawberry matcha good combo if you want something on a sweeter side try the strawberry matcha if you want something lighter and not as sweet matcha horchata super busy drive thru recommend to go early lines stretch out into the streets there is a back parking lot if you can get back there the directional arrows on the ground are weird because the lane closest to your right is the exit, while the lane furthest is to enter the drive thru and into the parking lot, be careful ”
“ Iced matcha horchata latte: 2.5/5. It wasn't bad, but both the matcha & horchata flavors was weak, I wish they were much stronger. Honestly, it tasted like whole milk with cinnamon, no matcha taste & lacked the spices that are so characteristic of a good horchata. I also am not sure if they use rice milk, it tasted like whole milk. But I do still love their mazapan frappe & mazapan peanut cream! Those are very smooth & flavorful, & perfect consistency. ”
“ First time here since I was coming back from company D. The parking is under construction or something so the entering and exiting was a bit tight. I manage to get by though. I had their iced matcha horchata latte , not bad for $6.25. I'll come back here one day :) ”
“ If you're ever curious if this is any good, stop by and grab a matcha horchata latte and you'll taste a bit of heaven. Not into matcha drinks? No problem, there's plenty of other options. I'll choose this place over Starbucks anytime. Come give it a taste. ”
“ After a visit to Disney before hitting the road, we grabbed Mexican Mochas from Tierra Mia Coffee Drive Thru and were thoroughly impressed - decadent but not overly sweet, rich, flavorful, and I believe a hint of cinnamon. They're definitely a highlight and worth the stop for any mocha lover. However, the drive-thru experience is challenging when busy - a poorly designed, shared entrance/exit that creates significant backups, low visibility, and high risk for an accident to occur. With vehicles trying to leave from two sides while others enter on a heavily trafficked street, the whole process becomes chaotic and frustrating. If you're willing to endure the traffic hassle for a top-notch mocha, this spot might be a hidden gem. But improvements to the drive-thru design could make the experience much smoother for everyone. We were peering in to the inside and it looked stunning, if we lived here we would come back and try to go in and try more because their menu looks amazing - not just coffee beverages but baked goods too! ”
“ My visit to Tierra Mia Coffee was not a planned one. After a wonderful dinner an old buddy of mine and I wanted to grab some coffee. I can't speak to his order, but I really enjoyed mine. I ordered a large Mocha Mexicana. The flavor was rich, not too sweet and yet very satisfying. I ordered mine over ice, so it was definitely more of a dessert drink. The only concern right now is there is construction near by so it wasn't the easiest to get in and out of the parking lot. What was more impressive, is long and continuous the line was where there was at least one car waiting in the street to be able to pull into the to drive through line. I'd go back for sure.... Enjoy ”
